The zoo is quite cool. We go there a lot. The children love the "Night house" a building where you can see animals that are awake at night in their natural habitat.

Although the building itself isn't attractive and there isn't a lot to see, the Anne Frank House is still a very impressive place to visit.

The Singer Museum in Laren is a great place to spend some time. They have great expositions and they have a lovely garden.

The Leidsestraat has many shops and cheap eateries, but to find more interesting shops you need to stroll around the Nine Streets just off the Leidsestraat.
