Very strange but true. In a relative simple spanish dwelling you find The Boothill Saloon, a biker´s place run by Belgian Coen. He serves a big range of mostly Belgium beers. Just park your bike inside, no problem.

Camping - Restaurante Presa La Viñuela, on the road between Velez-Malaga and Colmenar next to lake Vinuela, is worth the go. Especially the restaurant. Good food and beverage, a lot of it for a very normal price. Sit outside and enjoy the stunning view, especially at sunset, of the Lake Viñuela with the Maroma mountain in the background. The Maroma is the highest mountain of the Axarquia region and perhaps of Malaga province. I do not know about the camping that is brand new (2006) but it is looking good with a nice pool and the same view as described above.

Chiringuito Antonio has been taken over by a German Kieler Jurgen. He changed some details: Big Spanish Dishers into Big German Disher. Although he is a bit of a strange guy, just have some food because it is a change of food and very good value.

Baviera Golf is a good one. Although it has not much of a clublife, the course is very nice and the greenfees are absolutely reasonably prices (between %u20AC 40 and %u20AC 50). It is pretty new but very well maintained. The fairways and greens are smooth as a billiard table and especially the last 9 holes are marvellous. Quiet, in the nature, with lots of uphill and downhill challenges. And after doing the course, the restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. Better then most other restaurants / bars.

Next time I go to Thailand, I am only taking one set of underwear, a toothbrush, my passport and some money. The rest I will buy in MBK centre. You can buy everything and it costs hardly anything. Buy clothes, electronics, accesoires, etc for a whole year
