The Montréal Olympic Stadium was built for the 1976 Summer Olympic Games in Montréal. After the olympics the stadium was used for the purpose of providing a facility to young athletes. It is was the home of the Montréal Expos until their move to Washington in 2004. It now serves as a venue for major events such as concerts and competitions, as well as being one of the most-visited attractions in the province. It is on the same site as the popular Biosphere/Biodome complex as well.
