Majestic Creek is the latest of the championship golf courses to open. The road inland to the club passes through rural Thailand with small farms producing pineapples, sugarcane, bananas and mangoes. The journey is interesting, and it becomes more scenic as the road approaches the golf resort, which lies beneath the ever-present mountains to the west of Hua Hin.

The course was designed by a local golf architect but equal praise must go to the construction team who have produced a layout which needs to be played with imagination and skill. Valleys in the nearby mountains supply water to the maze of streams winding around the course, and the constructors have been careful to preserve them as natural hazards. In certain areas these features have been highlighted, and the results are both attractive as well as meeting the high standards of design expected by the modern day golfer.
