Uzes is a very charming town with less than 1000 inhabitants. Although it is pretty small it still functions as a regional centre for the region.

Following the nomination of Uzès as a 'Town of Art' in 1962 the historic centre was beauitfully restored. Visitors can now enjoy the narrow streets, alleys and old-style squares, enhanced by the medieval towers that dominate the old town. Main sights include the Duchy and the Tour Fenestrelle.
