Toms River is located on the Jersey Shore on the center/southern side of the state in Ocean County. This town has a little bit of everything for everyone. Within minutes, over the Tunney-Mathis Bridge (Route 37 east), you then have at your disposal the beaches and boardwalks of the Jersey Shore. Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, Island Beach State Park, and Point Pleasant are gems of the Jersey Shore. There are aquariums, miniature golf, rides, and stand after stand of games for people of all ages. And not to be missed is the typical 'boardwalk fare'.....sausage sandwiches, ice cream, cotton candy, funnel cakes, zeppoles, vinegar fries, and the hugest slices of pizza you will ever see.
