This place is amazing! Incredible views. Unfortunately it has been a bit more modernized (spray painted rocks leading you to hostels on the trail). There's also a main road leading through the bottom now. Still a wonderful destination if you're heading through Lijiang. Just search the cafes in town and you'll find maps telling how to get there and where to go. Definitely stop by the tea-horse inn it should be the first stop on the way from the lijiang side, and especially the five fingers. It was still being built when we were there about a year ago, but the people there were great! yummy walnuts and honey, and the best little old grandmother on earth.
