Te Paki Stream is the northern most off ramp / on ramp for the Ninety Mile Beach.

All of the tours to Cape Reinga use this ramp when travelling up or down Ninety Mile Beach.

The stream opens flows into the Ninety Mile Beach.  At the other end where it joins the metal road, there are toilets and a parking area.

At the rest area are huge sand dunes, where people who have the energy walk up to the top to go tabogganning down.  Note:  when coming down the dunes, if you scream you may be a mouth full of sand!
