Schleissheim is just north of Munchen. In the small town you can find two major castles that are worth a visit. The Neues Schloss Schleisheim and the Altes Schloss are highlights and for anyone coming to Munich, they should be visited.

Another major site is the Fluwerft Schleissheim, where there is a museum dedicated to teh history of aviation.
