The city offers a great opportunity for sports and has one of the best stadiums Brazil, which brings one of the best teams as Volleybal, Handball, Soccer to compete in the city.

The Banespa men's volleyball team won its last championship one more time. The Womens Volleyball called MRV, won some champioships too. They have the best team of handball, wich it's always champions in all of the chamipoships and almost all of the players are on the Brazilian All-Star team, and always won the world championship.

They had mens and womens soccer, basketball, track and a lot of varietys of sports, it's as amzing city to sports.

They have one of the huges places to go out called Estancia Alto da Serra, wich is one place to people that likes country music, food and shows. They had in every weekends the bests country parties and in some weekends they have reggaes parties. It's an awesome house of shows too, bringing one of the best singer like Chiclete com Banana, Asa de Aguia, Ivete Sangalo, Inimigos da HP, Jeio Muleque, Chitaozinho e Xororo, Sandy e Junior, Leonardo, Daniel, Edson e Hudson, Bruno e Marrone and anothers best singers of Brazil.
