About 150 km southeast of San Jose San Isidro de Perez Zeledón is a starting point for trips into southern Costa Rica, particularly for its proximity to the unreal splendor of Parque Nacional Chirripo, whose main entrance stands in nearby San Gerardo de Rivas.
The language is spanish, but in the Chamber of tourism you can find help in English, a litle percentage talk english but it is easy to find someone.
The bus departs from 'Mercado Central' and Gafeso. Taxis are in the front of the park.
Mostly tourist stay in Hotel Chirripó because its in front of the park and it is easy to get there.
