North Vancouver is located approximately 8 km north of the downtown core of Vancouver. Access to North Vancouver is usually via the Lion's Gate Bridge or the Second Narrows Bridge (also called the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge) by car, or by Seabus for foot passengers. Many travellers come to North Vancouver to visit the Capilano salmon hatchery, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, or to take the Skyride to the top of Grouse Mountain. Travellers can also go to Horseshoe Bay by bus where ferries depart for Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast and many of the Gulf Islands. Ryan Noren lives somewhere around here.
