Mulberry was an old coal mining town. Once called Mulberry Grove. Still a nice little town to retire in. This town is located on the Kansas/Missouri stateline. It's about 130 miles south of Kansas City. Take 69 highway south to Arma, Kansas and go east. There is no gas stations or grocery stores in the town anymore. Burgess, Missouri borders Mulberry on the east and there is a small store with liquor, wine and some food. Mulberry has a nice police department and a very up to date fire department. And there is several churches there.
