Motueka is located at the top of the South Island and is serviced by the Nelson Regional Airport (the 4th busiest in NZ) located only an easy forty minute drive away. Motueka is a 3 hour drive from the Picton- Wellington Interisland ferry and 5 hours from Christchurch. Daily bus services link Abel Tasman with Picton and the ferries, with the West Coast and the Glaciers and with Kaikoura, Hanmer Springs and Christchurch.
