Mapusa is the administrative headquarter of North Goa. It has a good friday markets, some nice churches. Close to Mapusa are some of the nicest beaches of Goa. Worth visit is the Milagres Church and Hanuman Temple. There is a Goan Handicraft emporium at Tourist Hostel in Mapusa.
