Located on the east shore of Lake Washington, off Interstate 405 in northern King county, Kirkland is 10 miles east of downtown Seattle, west of Redmond, and just north of Bellevue. It's a small artsy type town right on Lake Washington.

There are some great restaurants, beaches and it's one of the more liveable towns on the 'East Side'.

Certainly not a must see location if time is limited but, if you're thinking of moving here it shouldn't be missed.
