Bluff City is a tiny little town wedged in a valley on the San Juan River in Southeastern Utah. Founded by one of the last Mormon wagon train expeditions of the 19th century, Bluff today is more of a funky artist's colony. It's a favorite stopping place for southwest travelers in the know, who use it as a jumping off place for visiting Cedar Mesa, Grand Gulch, Monument Valley, the Navajo Nation, and other sights.
Wild Rivers Expeditions has a base of operations in the town, and provides daily river trips to Mexican Hat and beyond.
