Antibes, in the old days (were speaking 5th century now) known as Antipolis, is a town with many remnants of the past. The town was fortified and one can still see the ramparts in and along the sea. The city has a charming centre with a lot of old, narrow winding streets and this is a good point from which to explore the interesting sights of Antibes, such as the fort and the cathedral.
