In November 2005 my wife and I went for a short weekend trip to Brugge, Belgium. We stayed at the Heritage Hotel just a few footsteps outside the city center where all the nice and fancy shops are. Brugge is well known for fancy shopping and its the nice restaurants.
The Heritage Hotel is very stylish decorated. Each room is different but all with the same stylish touch of style. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is wonderfull. Since there are numerous restaurants in the direct neighbourhood, the Heritage Hotel does not serve lunches and diners. The breakfast however is very generous. As parking is always a problem in the bigger cities, the Heritage has valet parking service. The lounge is also stylish decorated as well as the (small) reception.
We had lunch and diner in several good restaurants and both enjoyed the wines and spirits. My wife gave the local economy a boost as she shopped till she dropped...
I can recommend it to everyone, that if you whish to have a short break, to drive to Brugge and enjoy your weekend without the kids...
